Domestic violence. Reality.

Stressed out family.
Lots of conflict
Man hits woman.
Gets arrested.
Loses job.
Now real financial strain.
She wants charges dropped.
Da wont drop charges.
She wishes shed never called the cops.
She recognozes she had some part in the fight. This isnt oj, this is frustrated couple on the edge
She gets evicted, kids are homeless.
They have nothing after $$$ to lawyers.
He stays in jail or prison .
She tries to lie for him at trial or he takes a deal.
They reunite, way worse off, he may now be unemployable, big debt to court.

This is societys answer to many problems. Criminalize the hell out of people.
Cops are keeping us “safe!”.

There are other ways to solve problems in society than just more law enforcement

I had rats for a while and got them myself. very satisfying. Traps in the attic. i remmebr hearing a trap snap shut in the middle of the night and smiling. Not very buddhist or vegan of me. but man it felt good. the last one was the trickiest. man he was wily.

part of what pest guys will do you can definitely start- look for entry points, seal them up. we had a palm tree that gave access to the roof. stuff like that. I loved catching rats.
