Participant
2020 is going to be decided by all the people in the middle.
Biden is the best candidate for this. All he has to do is stay centered and avoid saying something stupid.
We are going to have a reinfection, it’s going to be bad. Especially in the red states that disregarded the seriousness of this and opened early. There’s going to still be a lot of unemployed people. They are going to cut off UI benefits to those people, people are going to die. lots of people. BLM bring our the worst in Trump and this administration.
All Biden has to do is avoid doing anything extreme that polarizes people.
Is there anyone left in the middle?
Trumps repub. Support recently “plummeted” to 85%. Jesus fuckin christ. 85% through this? The overwhelming majority are on his side. He could pull it off.
If 85 perc. Of repub. Today support trump, and that number plummeted from the 90s, then there is an overwhelming chance that every single person i meet who identifies repub. Is not a person i would trust.

Pretty funny, but republicans still mostly support trump.
This leads me to believe that most republicans are sick in the head.
Its not open for discussion in my mind at this point in time.
If you support trump i think you are morally wrong or dopey or suffering from extreme tribalism, more mind distorting than lsd.
I would not want to engage in a discussion with someone like that on the issue of whether trump should be elected. Nothing can be said to persuade, me or her, not even that deep state produced lindsey graham photoshopped ad.
Opinions are set at this point.
Not that any other position means youre morally good or wise. Just that the existing trump supporters actually damaged the us and are scaring me. Lindsey graham, pathetic.
Ive felt vaguely threatened by trumpies ive talked to making threats about a coming civil war in which the liberals die because they are unarmed.
Yeesh. I dont want trumpies killed.

This reminds me of my business partner’s friend who said “I’m 100% certain the market will be lower in a month” and sold everything… on March 23 (the day of the low… mkt was up 25% a month later).
If you believe you KNOW what the market will do over a short term time frame… you are fooling yourself, my friend.
It seems like there sometimes very rarely a sure th8ng.
I can think of only 1.
1 day go short sp500 after 9/11.

ParticipantNever jump into anything.
Be particularly cautious concerning outdated kitchens and the urge to renovate.
Always consider temecula, as it is very nice

Participant

I think the problems people are focusing on are distractions to avoid dealing with the real issues in front of us. Overpopulation…
Josh
I am continually amazed at how many of the “save the planet” folks do not even MENTION overpopulation, or at least population growth.
That is the one thing that will do the most to preserve the planet in the long term, and the one thing that never leaves their lips.
LOL. The worlds population is growing at less than 2% per year and that rate is declining.
Wait until the baby boomers and similar generations die off. We’re going to be begging people to have kids.
Its not worth the effort to have kids.

Guys keep coming over to quote, but its almost like they dont want the job
It’s too bad you are over at Temecula because I have a couple of contractors that have cycles since things are slow that does flooring, cabinets, counters, and walls. I’m about to redo the flooring of a condo since I thought I would take advantage of the slowdown to get some deferred improvements I wanted to make eventually anyway, and since my tenant doesn’t mind opening the doors and helping. (Why not, they get new flooring…But it would only take 1-2 days i think.
I don’t think Nextdoor because you got a bunch of crazy people, but for finding contractors, it seems like it’s ok. Have you tried there?
The contractors can sleep at my house if travels an issue
