Participant
A 10 in appearance isn’t always what she’s cracked up to be. Better to meet someone who’s attractive to you, whom you enjoy doing stuff with, and who’s intellectually compatible with you. You’ll be living with her, not putting her on display in your Barbie collection.
the song…
If you wanna be happy for the rest of your life
Never make a pretty woman your wife
So for my personal point of view
Get an ugly girl to marry you
If you wanna be happy for the rest of your life
Never make a pretty woman your wife
So for my personal point of view
Get an ugly girl to marry you
A pretty woman makes her husband look small
And very often causes his downfall
As soon as he married her and then she starts
To do the things that will break his heart
But if you make an ugly woman your wife
A-you’ll be happy for the rest of your life
An ug-a-ly woman cooks meals on time
And she’ll always give you peace of mind
If you wanna be happy for the rest of your life
Never make a pretty woman your wife
So for my personal point of view
Get an ugly girl to marry you
[Sax solo]
Don’t let your friends say you have no taste
Go ahead and marry anyway
Though her face is ugly, her eyes don’t match
Take it from me, she’s a better catch
If you wanna be happy for the rest of your life
Never make a pretty woman your wife
So for my personal point of view
Get an ugly girl to marry you
[Spoken:]
Say man!
Hey baby!
I saw your wife the other day!
Yeah?
Yeah, an’ she’s ug-leeee!
Yeah, she’s ugly, but she sure can cook, baby!
Yeah, alright!
If you wanna be happy for the rest of your life
Never make a pretty woman your wife
So for my personal point of view
Get an ugly girl to marry you
If you wanna be happy for the rest of your life
Never make a pretty woman your wife
So for my personal point of view
Get an ugly girl to marry you
If you wanna be happy for the rest of your life

Participantthere really is no utility in knowing anything about the news, or voting. theoretically, if i were ignorant of the election results, for years, my actual quality of life would be improved. so why the hell do i want to be “informed”. all that should matter is that which is in my miniscule sphere of control.

Let me see if I understand this correctly:
You’re saying that Trump made claims while he was running for political office – that may never come to fruition?
I’ve never heard of this happening before. You? I may need to find a safe place.
never heard a politician make claims and promises quite as direct bold unilateral and with such promised speed.
he and he alone is capable.
the contract is in writing…https://www.donaldjtrump.com/contract/
but in particular, im talking about draining the swamp. talk about shamelessly ppivoting on a dime. but of course. why not.
it was all a big con. beautifully done.
i admire the cojones. i need to grow a pair, myself.
im hoping and thinking maybe he does shut down these h1b visas esp. for engineers as a showpiece of hiw antiimmigrant he is. easier than deportations. helps my kid, maybe?
day ONE is gonna be busy, what with wall construction, term limits on congress, etc.
So you would rather he stick to all the crap he promised before getting elected? That seems odd coming from you, or most anyone on this site for that matter. I thought you would be happier about him being a bit more moderate. He has been a Democrat much longer than a Republican. Not surprising at all.
Maybe do a bit of research and see which politicians in the past have made promises that never saw the light of day once they got elected. It’s par for the course.
Wrong!
never in thr history of american politics, have promises this specific placed in writing in a signed contract online with a one day timeline. you are Wrong. and sad. and im sad too. and sometimes wrong.
i want h1b visas stopped on DAY ONE. or im suing to enfor e that unenforceable contract.
although, could a vote be considered consideration?
i guess the only thing im irritated about is i thought there was a small chance he actually was certifiable. gyess itll be just usual nonsense.
Ok then.
Drink heavily.
im holding steady.

Participantin the 80s i had a sales job at a private trade school that actually was not a total ripoff. i remember being pretty truthful though about whatever i knew of the place. . got fired in a couple months. i also remember the star sales guy. just would literally say and promise anything. obnoxious pushy wormlike dude. just pressured people to sign with utter bs. no one left his office without signing up. i recall thinking, how can he lie like that? and thinking i didnt have it in me. the owner was a total ass who kept a loaded weapon in his desk. i definitely remember that. i bet hed had some dissatisfied customers.
truthful people arent morally better, maybe, we are just wired differently? it would cause me b distress to intentionally lie to someone.

Participantit is ridiculous that more elderly people dont run up huge debts before dying.
start amassing massive credit lines.
buy hard assets and give to heirs.
it is absurd to die with less than 250k in credit card debt.
i guess the problen is your dumb estate and not knowing when youlll die. but if youre asset free, why not run up some debt?
some people used to pay off nondischargeable student loan debt with dischargeable credit cards. doesnt work…fraud…
but a generally broke 80 year old …seems reas. to maintain good credit and maxvout cash advances…make min payments. live high on the hog

Participant

no more abortions will probably satisfy his voters. screw the wall, and the deportations. just stop all the aborting.
As an attorney that’s disingenuous. Overturning R v W would leave it to the individual states to decide – not prohibit it. Plus I didn’t see that as being a very important issue compared to jobs.
couldnt they make it a federal crime?
i think abortions a pretty big one for trumplets.
