chrisM, hello future neighbor :-).
To close this thread out, my wife and I did end up getting the model we wanted in Del Sur last weekend. The plan 3 right on the future Kristen Glen Park.
We also really liked the homes at Mirasol in La Costa Greens and especially the upper cul-de-sac some will be located at, but they already have a list for that and it’s not slated till late 2011. Also, we just love the neighborhood of Del Sur more than any other we have seen.
Every single buyer in our phase is a couple around our age range +/- 5 years. A couple two houses down from the previous phase are both fellow UCLA alma matter that graduated the same year as myself.
And today, the Del Sur facebook page announced the latest API scores for Del Sur elementary…954.
Thank you everyone for your advice. It really helped us stay more prudent and patient in our hunting.
Now, if you know anyone interested in a 1400 sq ft house/9000 sq ft lot in Rancho Ponderosa, please contact me ;-). (My apologies if that’s not good etiquette to advertise, I will remove if so)

pjwalParticipantToday’s polling shows a slight uptick for Whitman most certainly as a result of this nonsense.

You should keep your overall portfolio to 7-17% of this anyway as the hedge against inflation, imho.
Good observation, against the crowd. Mircrosoft, and other top 50 companies are issuing massive amount of short term notes at near 0% to finance dividends and stock buybacks. Who are the dummies on the other side of the trade – pension funds?
short term? no one really. just good investing of the money in the bank they have. i mean if they get a better rate than they debt they owe, that’s just smart money mgmt. we are seeing quite a few of these upping their dividends as well as stock buy-back. i’m not advocating msft here, but i think we can be pleased with these type of actions.
i’m not a day trader though. i look at things long-term and actively adjust on a strategy that is not affected by short term variances. π
your thoughts?

pjwalParticipant

Leftists can never argue policy during a general election, so they always spit out crap like this.
hahaha, that’s a really good one.
That’s why conservatives wave the flag and the cross rather than focus on policy.
That’s they they malign immigrants by passing unconstitutional laws such as Prop 187 and SB1070 to energize their base.
Thank you for making my point. You’ve just admitted your real impetus for your political leanings are anti-Christian/Catholic. Jesus loves you either way brian.
