ParticipantI am hoping that CV will repeat what MM had last fall/winter.
It may not be as dramatic as MM, but I think 10 – 15% cut is reasonable.July 9, 2008 at 12:49 PM in reply to: Any news about Carmel Valley Saratoga/ Derby Hills “Holding Value”? #236227pepsi

ParticipantCV inventory is hitting 300 these days, and I swear that I can almost feel the tension between the buyers and sellers as they are in a stairing contest. I don’t see price reduction very often and the houses are staying on the market for a lot longer than 3 months ago.
However, with jumbo rate at 7-8%, it is hard to imagine that sellers will win the contest.July 9, 2008 at 2:17 AM in reply to: Any news about Carmel Valley Saratoga/ Derby Hills “Holding Value”? #235837pepsi

Participanthmm…. there is no pending sign on the pole…
And they just refilled the flyer box a few days ago.
On the other hand, some houses are on the market for quite a long time without any price reduction or update.
What could the reason be for this Park Villege listing ?

I wonder why an agent (and the home owner) will let a house stay on MLS for so long and never bother to post a picture or any description ?
