ParticipantWhat Russel Brand speaks of is class struggle/warfare which has been going on since the earliest civilization.
I think progress has been made (at least in the US); I’m just an average joe and my life is quite comfortable.

Participant

This case highlights perfectly (and in so many ways) what happens when one political party (and the public employee union thugs who own them) wields total power and tyranny over the citizens of that state.
Absolutely disgusting.
Which political party wields total power, paramount? It seems to me that BOTH parties have been bought by corporate/capitalist interests. The police in this incident were defending the “1%” against the “99%” — the party affiliated with the “1%” has historically been the Republican Party…and they are decidedly anti-union and anti-labor.
Note that cops did very little to break up Tea Party rallies (especially after they were co-opted by the right wing republicans), but went all-out at Occupy protests.
In California, the dems are absolutely 100% bought and sold by the public employee unions. I don’t know anyone who would dispute that fact.
There is no one in Sacramento to stop the dems. They (dems) absolutely work for the public employee unions that’s why thug cops are retiring young as multi-millionaires.
The republicans are persona non grata in Sacramento and as such useless in stopping the Karen Bass agenda (still in play).
Let me be clear, I am not a republican at all.
But I get that gov’t works best when there are at least (2) opposing forces – even if that means shutting down the govt.
Where balance of power is absent you get Obama care and city manager’s making more than the president.
I do understand that both major parties are akin to the mafia.

ParticipantThanks flu, that is totally cool (and useful…).
I finally got the engine light off, I just hope long enough to get it through emissions.

BTW – if you search for “idaho corruption”, you can see that Idaho isn’t immune. And also has a large problem with fruits and nuts of the wannabe Nazi persuasion.
Probably California transplants…

ParticipantProductive Californian’s should seek economic and political asylum from California in Boise Idaho.
In California, productive citizens lost, the welfare/entitlement state has won.
A quick look at Boise (beautiful):
We’ll help you move to Boise:

ParticipantYou can be right and dead at the same time.
Look, generally speaking the police these days are VERY dangerous to average citizens (law abiding or not).
The have been militarized, and their enemy is YOU!!!

I think the number was either 65,000 or 85,000 H1B’s.
I think there were some other categories as well.

ParticipantProves a point, but yes it was phony IMO.
If you have a good idea for a video, you can easily pay to get it made and maybe, just maybe it will go viral.
Like this one did….
