ParticipantChien en brochette…red or white? I agree Allan we have probably digressed sufficiently at this point. Me especially. Glad you know I am just playing Josh, I mean you and your shot gun. Rustico does not fight bitter renters. I only fight home owners with lots of equity and then I let them kick MY ass. I think sdr fits the bill. He thinks I am a friend of poway seller so I think he’d do enough damage for me to get that house too ;).

ParticipantThere was someone else that nailed the stock market troubles very near the the first rough day. Does anybody remember that thread? I looked for it but couldn’t find it. Of course We haven’t seen enough to say someone correctly predicted a crash, but like Enorah’s post that one seemed very spooky in its timing.

ParticipantIt doesn’t seem unusual that they would be running two or even three shifts unless the neighbors had a problem with it and could control the hours. Even in that case, people could be welding or doing other low noise activities.

ParticipantNo worries Josh when you go to the meet up and get your ass kicked all the way to Jamul. I’ll let you crash on the couch and give you a ride home the next day. Hell why don’t we make things easy, drive out to Jamul I’ll kick your ass and you can drive home.
You feel better now?BTW, schadenfreude: way over used lately, can you come up with a new one.

ParticipantNavy Doc. Have your driven past Malibu to Leo Carrillo state park? It is going to take about an hour from LA.The drive is interesting.Once you get to Leo Carrillo You can start off on the beach, go for a hike for hours through the canyon and foothills (if you want to) then go back down to the beach. I like weekdays after school is back in for this. I think if Torrey Pines is your speed this will do the trick. Another easy day out is the Getty museum. It is up on a hill near Santa Monica. You can go to the museums and then spend some time in the gardens which have vast views of the Pacific.
I don’t know L.A. too well even though I grew up in the next county north. I know when I travel and meet people or have foriegn guests they always hold the opinion L.A. is a world class city.

ParticipantI don’t think anyone can say in two, or five, or 12 months. It will proceed relatively slowly but apace. The market events of the recent past should please the majority of people on this board.
“5 to 10% decline this year will essentially all of it coming between August 15th and November 30th.”
That’s pretty fast eye-pod. If it happens in the upper range ,10%, on something like a quarterly basis the most bearish piggingtonians and former piggingtonians (latesummer2oo8) are proven correct. They are going to be some exceptions where a properties get whacked real hard and fast. Maybe many of them will.
