OK, you have to live with Trump for two more years and I have to live with Gavin Newsom for who knows how many more years until my wife’s job here in CA ends and I can move to a low tax state. According to what you guys are saying, Trump will more than likely not get elected again and that should make you happy. Two years goes by fast. All I know is that I keep seeing my taxes go up with no end in sight. High taxes is a result of too many social programs for which I am not an advocate of.
NeetaTParticipantNo flu,
I don’t agree with Trump on his latest foreign policy, but I am willing to give it a little time before I pass complete judgment on his decision. I lost some money in a foreign fund due to his tariff decision, but again I am willing to give it some time before I point the finger. I think he means well he is just different to say the least.
NeetaTParticipantOh no! Here I go again. I’m watching Fox News. Those guys are real deplorables.
They believe in:
1.) Low taxes
2.) Limited government
3.) Secure borders
4.) Respect for law enforcement
5.) They are anti affirmative action.
6.) They don’t believe in getting rid of plastic straws.
7.) They don’t believe in making people pay for plastic grocery bags.
8.) They believe in personal responsibility.
9.) They don’t believe in putting triangle signs on bathroom doors.
10.) They believe that certain criminals should be shot on sight.OH NO!!!!!
NeetaTParticipantOh no! I must be a deplorable. I voted for Trump! I will vote for him again unless there is a better republican on the ballot. My concern is not with what Trump is doing it’s what Gavin Newsom is doing to CA. I think you are a deplorable if you voted for Gavin Newsom.
NeetaTParticipantMy TV stays on Fox News or the Golf Channel. Maybe I’m a right winger, who knows. If believing in small government, low taxes, secure borders, respect for law enforcement, and a powerful military make me a right winger, then so be it. As a matter of fact, I am watching Tucker Carlson right now.
NeetaTParticipantOK, no problem. Keep giving the government more money to waste. Keep growing the social programs in CA. Keep taxing me to death.
NeetaTParticipantPublic schools should not exist. All schools should be private non-profits. Public schools are too expensive.
The public school system has you paying for your own 12 years of education for the rest of your life via property taxes and other fees and taxes regardless of where you live. Your parents paid for your public education via these fees and taxes. Now you are paying for the rest of your life for what could have been paid off in 12 years.NeetaTParticipant“Mello Roos”
Translation: (“Sacramento” / “San Diego” Government)
“We are angry that we cannot charge more than 1% of 80% of the accessed value of residential property for property tax purposes due to proposition 13. The private homeowner has made us so angry that we found a way to get around proposition 13. Our way of getting around proposition 13 is to deceive the homeowner by adding voter approved bonds, assessments, and Mello Roos to the homeowner’s property tax bill. We don’t care if the homeowner is on a fixed income. We want the extra money so that we can fund our overly generous pensions and provide us with large-frequent pay raises not to mention funding welfare programs”.
NeetaTParticipantMy TV stays on FOX News. I tried watching MSNBC, but I could not take it. I guess I am a “right wing” advocate with maybe a few liberal views that I am wiling to give up for lower taxes, a genocide campaign against MS-13, pushing car-jackers into oncoming traffic, and getting rid of economy killing regulations.
NeetaTParticipantI think it all boils down to the massive / alarming increase in the transfer of wealth from the private sector to the public sector. One example is property tax. Although it comes out to approximately 1.25% of 80% of the assessed value when you include assessments and voter approved bonds, the average property tax in San Diego, CA. is approximately $600.00 per month. On Average, if a person is paying $2,000.00 in rent, at least $500.00 of that rent is property tax baked into the rent. Now do you think for a minute that the government is going to lower the property tax percentage to lets say 1/2% of 80% of the assessed value to make housing more affordable? Not on your life! The government in CA is absolutely bent on doing whatever it can to add on new taxes and increase existing taxes. The transfer of wealth from the private sector to the public sector is what’s making people flee CA. The only reason that I am still in CA, is because my wife has a job that she can’t seem to get away from.
NeetaTParticipantIf you would like to go broke, buy the Nissan X-Terra. It is much worse than the 4-Runner for gas mileage.

NeetaTParticipantMy skin is white and I carry a passport in my back pack at all times. I guess I could be in the country illegally as a European, who knows. I still don’t mind showing someone my passport. I also think that if someone with brown skin should be searched so should I. No harm done here. I think the harm done is paying benefits to people who are in the U.S. illegally. States like CA have too many and too high taxes as it is. To me it’s all about preserving my assets and not giving it away to welfare recipients who don’t want to work.
