Mexico ResidentParticipant
I like Jim’s posting for simple reasons – he has insight and he does a lot of work for us lazy folks by bringing a lot of statistics, facts, and examples. PS, please, I do enjoy your posts also, but how would you feel if someone said you are driven by the profit motive. (Because your real estate site is going to have at least some features for a fee). This discussion makes me appreciate a latin country.
Mexico ResidentParticipantYes, I really am a Mexico Resident. I have no near-term plans on moving to San Diego but like to follow the real estate. I agree that Mission Valley is centrally located (if that suits you) but is not a great place to raise kids.
Mexico ResidentParticipantI like Jim very much. He adds a lot of insight to this site.
Mexico ResidentParticipantThis really makes me wonder. There are some Escala condos 3/3 on the MLS right now for $499K (bottom range, don’t remember the top of the range).
Mexico ResidentParticipantI follow Mission Valley condo real estate. I notice that there are a lot of Escala condos (maybe 10?) up for sale right now. The price range is $500k -$750k or so. The $500k price for 3 br/3 ba, isn’t this lower than a year ago? Anyone have data on this? Spectrum up in Kearny Mesa is also showing stress.
Mexico ResidentParticipantI couldn’t agree more with some of the comments about the stressful driving conditions and drivers in San Diego. I think its pretty representative of the area. I don’t find Mexico City that bad, except for the occaisional imprudent driver. I think that’s pretty representative of that area, too.
Mexico ResidentParticipantI’d call that a failure also. Especially if you consider all the time you would have to spend on the project.
Mexico ResidentParticipantHe’s just doing his job. I don’t see any law being broken. On the other hand, the news media sure is slow to ask for supporting analysis.
Mexico ResidentParticipantThat is so true. If you look at the LA and San Diego housing stock a lot of it is old and gross.
Mexico ResidentParticipantPasadena Broker might be a neophyte, and he might be a troll

Mexico ResidentParticipantPasadena Broker, you might be right but you’ll have to provide a reason. Just saying “Don’t hold your breath” won’t cut it. What do you think of the YOY declines in many So Cal areas?
