ParticipantIf CA approved concealed carry permits or I moved to TX or AZ, I would carry without hesitation. Of course, stringent training and testing should be required and you should have to be squeaky clean to get the permit. Sure crazies will get through the cracks, but they’ll find a black market to obtain guns anyway. Outlawing firearms just doesn’t work – just look at the drug war as a comparison.
Criminals will always have guns – I just want a level playing field.

ParticipantI’ve been very interested in this market as a relocation destination for my family. Finally in touch with a recruiter who has a potential opportunity.
Based on my math, for 25% less gross income I could live like a king in a nice home within 20 miles of downtown and have the same disposable income after my largest expenses (housing & taxes). Schools seem to be better in the neighborhoods I’m looking at based on GreatSchools rankings, anyway.
Definitely something I’d consider for the right opportunity.

ParticipantYou guys are probably right. They seemed excited to have us as renters and want to move forward, but I think when I ask the tough questions they’ll show me the door and move on to the next sucker.
I’m touring a different property in PQ at 11:30 today, professionally managed. This one could be the one!
Thanks for your thoughts, everyone. Sincerely appreciate the input and this site!
