I just was able to get a Noon Tee time 2 weeks from now; you have to pay the advance booking fee ($28/player), but it assures you a time – I’m assuming you are a SD resident with ID card, if not good luck.

DowntownerParticipantI moved here from the Midwest in June 2004(nice timing!) My wife was under the mantra “renting is a waste of money” – “the American Dream is to own a home” – white picket fence and all that crap! Anyway, she is a CPA, so I knew the only way to sway her was numbers & data – Rich had this and more!

DowntownerParticipantWell, mine is pretty obvious, but I’ll have to add my story anyway.
I’ve lived in the center of cities for the past 22 years with one exception – a 4 month period in Mission Hills/Hillcrest. Where other people are alarmed by hearing sirens & the homeless fights/rants outside their windows, to me that’s comforting – it’s home! The 4 months in Mission Hills I could hear crickets, dogs(wolfs) howling, and the wind – Scared the shit out of me! Got lucky and the condo we were renting went to short sale and we negotiated our way out of it and moved back to the city! I always have to chuckle to myself when one of our suburb friends come to visit and ask if its save to park their car on the street – I’m thinking when I go out to there places some guy with a shotgun is going to come out and say he’s going to shoot me because I’m Trespassin’. Anyway, to each their own.
