What part of the law was unconstitutional? You say that as a blanket statement without supporting your claim by telling us the part that is unconstitutional according to you. It was written mirroring the federal law that is already in place for Border Patrol Agents. It even went a step further and elevated the suspicion levels needed for state and local law enforcement to act.

Dougie944ParticipantI do think you are very, very naive about these people that are having their homes foreclosed. I also think, based on your comments, that you are going to lose your 1 million and then have to figure out how to pay back 500,000 that you no longer have if you try this venture. Please figure something else to do with your money.

Dougie944ParticipantQuite frankly, who cares what your real estate agent wants to do? Get that agent to put it in writing that she doesn’t want to put your offer in on the house. That way she can’t come back later and say that she is owed a commission because she originally showed the house.
She can put the offer in as assignable so that the seller would not know who the buyer (you) is. That might be the preferable way to go with your history.
But, as I said before, who cares what your real estate agent wants. She should have your best interest at heart…40k less sounds like a better deal for you.

August 4, 2009 at 6:28 PM in reply to: WoooHooo. Consumer spending is up, savings and income down….. #440793Dougie944ParticipantI have been a massive saver most of my life. Around 40% of my gross income on average.
I have found myself spending more money than normal over the last 6 months while taking advantage of pretty big deals.
Maybe there are more savers out there doing the same.
