CoronitaParticipant
well…really, you’re just breaking even after tax. not quite a winner yet
Yes, but we know that this will change consider we still have a boatload of rate hikes coming….
CoronitaParticipantYou can buy more than $10k if you create different accounts under different entities.
For instance, you can open one under your name, one under your living trust, and then open a sub-minor account within your individual account (not the trust account).
CoronitaParticipantCheck costco.
CoronitaParticipant
CoronitaParticipantMake up your mind about your predictions.
CoronitaParticipantI think chicken feet went up by 66% too.
CoronitaParticipantFermented stinky tofu is relatively inflation proof. And it’s easy to make outside, and great for that neighborly love.
CoronitaParticipantI don’t eat out enough to collect points on meals.
First of all, eating out is bad for your health.
Second, it’s expensive and I can’t afford to eat out. Well I can, but still.
Third, I’m not a foodie.
CoronitaParticipantLol, when I first moved here in 96, I went to the Morena costco to buy a Sony Trinitron tv. It was cheaper than the tv I bought but canceled from Good Guys in UTC.. The salesman from Good Guys was pissed….lol
I got you guys all beat. I recently bought tires…
Not from Costco… Done that
Not from Tirerack.com Done that several times…But get this…
This time I bought tires from… Amazon…..because they were the cheapest for the exact tires I needed to run on an AWD car that requires matching tread.Actually, amazon just places an order from Simpletire.com. But the price ends up lower than if you order direct from Simpletire.com
If there’s 2 retail stores I’d hold stock in for the long term, it’s costco and amazon…Because even cheap ass me spends a fortune at Amazon and Costco….Which is why I carry the Costco Citibank Visa card and the Amazon Chase Card
A close 3rd would be Home Depot, lol.
I don’t really shop anywhere else these days.
Costco has a few interesting home and auto stuff too. I got the saferacks from them and did a self install.
And I also bought my pair of quick jacks through them.

CoronitaParticipantLet’s take s poll… Where go we think gzz is eventually going to end up?
I would vote somewhere in Poway
And then we will call you powayowner.
Because there was once a powayseller here before she got banned.

CoronitaParticipantI thought you were going to move to
Rancho SD.Interesting you are cross shopping Rancho SD versus LJ and Point Loma.
Feeling ok there, bud?
CoronitaParticipantI don’t know…But on that other thread about Apple… If a company spends 1/2 billion dollars on office space in San Diego, that doesn’t seem to suggest we are slowing down anytime soon.
In fact, I think what will happen is higher paid professionals move here.
Will that drive out people who are lower paid, maybe. But I would say it’s a labor pool swap versus Exodus
But I guess EconProf is like deadzone and selectively wants to pick and choose the news to follow.
https://www.piggington.com/apples_plans
Total job growth from Apple’s tech expansion at St. George: 0.01%
CoronitaParticipantEconProf. Are your sources for the decline counting or not counting undocumented people in 2021….har har har.
