ParticipantShiller clarifies, but still underscores “Could”…
Interesting article. Shiller has books he’s trying to sell by the way. He does mention one of them in the interview. Promoting his book to some degree…
But, its interesting to listen to Robert’s interviews….

it is not natural.
i hate when people say relationships “take work” … they do not. They require the ability to tolerate crap for extended periods of time.
Couldn’t agree more walter. Another good revelation.
You basically have to see enough value in the relationship to put up with the crap you get. Has to be worth it.

Participant
Face it… In america, we’re quickly becoming like a lot of other nations. There’s going to be a rich class and there’s going to a a poor class, and there’s nothing in between….
And it will have have nothing to do about how hard you work or how much you work. What it will be about is who controls what assets before the dollar falls flat on it’s face. This is harsh reality if we continue going down our current path….Buy assets
flu,
This is what keeps me up at night. The stark about face the economy is taking, and the accelerating lack of a Value Proposition for the US. We are becoming irrelavent with each passing day. On average we each produce too little, and consume to much to approach being competitive with our international rivals.
While I dislike the approach (keep a strong military so we can more effectively control the planet and guide it towards our needs/desires) seems to make more and more sense if we want to maintain the status quo for as long as possible.
What I understand in terms of classes, you indeed have the upper powerful/rich, but then you have a subclass of those who service the upper class. Then, you have the lower class/poverty level.
