ParticipantFirst off to the OP, on blaming Clinton, who the hell cares. Any nitwit in DC over the last 8-10 years could have spoken up about this without being a Monday morning QB.
As far as thanking Bill, you chaps ought to thank Dick Morris who told Hillary and staff to get the fvck out of the room so that Bill could “triangulate”. You know when she went all “Tammy Wynette”… Let’s not forget Bill was floundering those first two years, and after losing both houses of congress in a crushing defeat, he brought Morris in to save the day (again). If I had any sense that Barry would triangulate republican policies like Bill did, I might be willing to pull the Obama lever.

ParticipantNot sure if I will but understand the temptation….
As Sam kinison used to say “I don’t support wife beating, but I understand what turns MR HAND into MR FIST”….
Too bad I have 100K of Sallie Mae, you can never escape those guys, so that’s why I probably wouldn’t bother defaulting. An exercise in futility.

ParticipantMy experience with this was it seemed like my Indian guy was on vacation about half the time. Between sick baby, sick father, regular holiday’s, and leave time, it’s a wonder we got anything done. I was very fortunate that we outsourced some ugly stuff that we didn’t have time to do. Problem was it took him about 2 mos. longer than he thought, luckly since it was all nice to have, I didn’t mind.
Heaven help you if a wedding comes up, that’s good for a week or two off, because culturally it’s a big celebration.
So if we do this again, I’ll probably hire more than one, and try to hire a couple from distinct regions/backgrounds if at all possible (our office over there doesn’t mind asking that stuff). Mostly so that you hopefully avoid the possibility of a big festival taking both developers out.
I do think my guy worked on the days he was there, I just think all the time off was what delayed things. You walk away from something for two days plus the weekend, it’s hard to pick up right where you left off.
