ParticipantOr worse, their markets take a tumble and the peasants who invested their life savings in the market (and thus lost it) protesting the government for not taking care of them…
Sounds like the crowd in this country after 2000 and likely now during the housing bust. Help me!!… I loaded my BC with 400lbs of shot and jumped in the water and I can't float…

ParticipantNo way in a free market capitalist economy! Some one would peg his appearance to the financial/housing markets with a lot of people (i.e. Florida realtors) claiming he will save everyone from their overleveraged lives. In reality I would expect him to shrug the shoulder and say “Dude, it’s only paper”. Then the market economy goes poof… or something like that.

ParticipantKeeping my CFC Sept. $25 puts going into the hole. 530% gains on that one gives a lot of leeway on the leash but I really don’t see this turd going back up.

Participantglobal markets are tanking, us futures are down… tomorrow, dont fight the trend or a good day for a bounce?
Yep. With the Nikkei down up to 600 tonight and the rest of the Asian markets following suit tomorrow doesn't look to be too good in the US. Dow Jones futures down 200 tonight doesn't look like a bounce to me. I think the only good news that would bounce it tomorrow at this point is the return of Jesus himself.

ParticipantDon’t worry about that. Once the REO is sold short he will get a nice little bill from the IRS. Then he will be selling his toys in short order or they dock 50% of his paycheck to get get their take.
