CONCHO,
That was classic.LOL
I am convinced that this is what that movie is about. The analogy is 100% and let’s face it, no one would have ever gone to see a film about renegade zombie bankers sucking everyone dry so they made it about robots. Everyone is afraid of robots (I know I am).

Are the Fed’s debts the same as the National Debt? Or are the debts of the Fed in additional to the National debt? Who did the Feb borrow the money from?
“This is your last chance. After this, there is no turning back. You take the blue pill – the story ends, you wake up in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill – you stay in Wonderland and I show you how deep the rabbit-hole goes.” — Morpheus in “The Matrix”

ParticipantRP will not win. They have played and exhausted the “ignore” card. Now they will play the “attack” card. Soon we will hear that he is a racist who worships Aqua Buddha. If that does not fix the problem, they will play the “Diebold” card.

I am going to add the following – because I just got through dealing with it. We are shipping too much of our labor overseas, and it really doesn’t pay off. Too many companies are looking at the raw labor cost not factoring in production rate and quality. The reason this came up: I had to deal with Oracle support (MOS). On one issue, I had to deal with support based in China. The experience was almost like “Who’s on First”. Fine if I was wanting entertainment, but I have to deal with a system with reduced functionality – needs to be fixed. Part of the discussion ended up with the support person repeating everything I had entered, but in the form of a question.
I feel your pain UCG, but I’m worried that the outcome will simply be to move everything overseas. Case in point – I know of a couple of projects where everyone involved is in China except project management which is here in the US. They have lots of problems, delays, etc… that all come down to time zone and communications issues. So what’s easier? Move all of the work back here or just hire a PM in China?
Once the big rock starts rolling downhill it’s hard to stop. I’m just trying to get out of the way.
I am heartened by this new show “Hoarders”, though. I think that hoarding cleanup might be a good business to get into.
