The problem with your logic is that we’ve now lost well over 3,000 of our citizens in a war with a nation that has absolutely nothing to do with the 3,000 citizens who we are supposedly avenging.
If you think about it that way, Bin Laden and the Saudis killed way more than the 3,000 on 9/11. Mission accomplished, indeed.
