50% off a crazy number is still not that much. we look at a lot of places on a bit of land that were 1, 1.2 million. were they really worth anything near that. no. that was insane. 5-600k is still kinda insane. .

I think you said you have around 70K hmmm,
A little looking and I think you could find a beat-up older home in TV for around that, It would need a lot of TLC (short hand for a lot of very hard work) but then how much could you lose on that deal ???
Just some food for thought,
Also TV does have some good paying Job’s (there are at least 3 fortune 500 companies in TV ), probably more very likely down the road 5 or 10 years from now.
And Most Job centers in SD are about an hours commute (that’s not too bad for SoCal at least coming from L.A.).
