but, frankly a lot of banks need to eat this paper, and along with
a lot of hedge funds, who need some serious regulation.

I’ll disagree about the hedge funds. They are, by their nature, high-risk. No skin of my (or the average American’s) back if they all become insolvent.

Other than that, I agree with the points listed. But I’ll suggest the banks have already been bailed out by the Fed and we are all paying for it, via inflation.
