Swine flu death rate similar to seasonal flu: expert
As a father I want to ensure my son has the best chances of survival but, I’m just as concerned about what the long term effects of the vaccine could be. This thing seems to have been rushed out into production. We don’t really know what side effects if any will be present and to whom.
The local news (channel 8, I think) recently ran a story about a mother going to get her children vaccinated at Balboa Hospital but, changing her mind once she learned that the version offered there contained a very smalll amount of mercury. Her concern was that mercury has been linked to Autism.
I acknowledge that I’m pretty skeptical by nature. As such, one of my first thoughts is who has something to gain by the hype associated with N1H1?
This all feels similar to TARP/Bailout BS that we experienced last year and the Terror Threat Color thingy we experienced after 9/11.

Turns out that the company that made the stuff was run by Clinton’s old crony, Admiral Crowe. The shots were given in an eight week series. I never did get them in the proper sequence, but was getting one every time I turned around. I never knew of anyone being exposed to Anthrax, but the same could be said for any number of immunizations.
Likewise, I spent twenty-plus years avoiding flu shots, since I knew that the syringe held some government employee’s best guess at what that future flu strain might be. For those who remember the last Swine Flu epidemic, after the fact it turned out that more people, mostly old, died of the innoculation than the flu, and that the innoculation was likewise a useless preventative for that strain.
What’s the least risk position? Good question.
