What the hell is going on with people these days?

Wow. As the mom to a 4 year old and a 7 year old, I can’t even imagine this. I suppose some parents can really lose control of a teenager and feel like they have no options. But the 5 year old? That poor boy must be terrified. His mom has just messed him up for life.

Seriously, one would have to hope that these people do this out of love – because they feel they can not adequately provide and feel their kids would be better off in others’ hands.

Note to self: don’t forget to mention the kids in the bushes to my kids.

Good point sdduude on some level, at least partially, they probably are doing what you are saying…trying to take care of them. To be cynical maybe they are just trying to get rid of them without facing jail.

I found mentioning the bushes along the side of a Freeway to have better effect than say, a park or some nice hills. Don’t do it in sight of any place with candy or playground equipment.Even kids have their priorities.
