We bought in 2007 — family deal, so bought under market, such as it was back then. Asked for a reassessment in 2008. Suggested what we thought the place was worth, and San Diego County agreed. Did not reapply this year, but the County recently reassessed it at another $25,000 less. Fine with us! We’re not selling unless there is a personal catastrophe. Plan to die here unless evil children put us in a nursing home π
