Rutherford single level closed 6/20/08 … 2450 sq. ft. at $505,000 – that’s $206 per sq. ft.!
This is not a premium property. It has the “canyon view/city lights”, an 8200 sq. ft. lot and a somewhat upgraded inside. The sales price is ridiculous! An agent couple owned it, occupied it, and listed it. The agent couple also listed the identical house next door, which sold on 03/04/08 for $490,000, or $200 per sq. ft. (no upgrades, smaller lot), when at the same time on 02/28/08 an identical house on Mumm , with similar view, sold for $375,000, or $167 per sq. ft.
So what’s up with this Rutherford agent couple? Are they secret super agents, or is there more here than meets the eye? And what purchasing agent would bring a buyer to these overpriced homes?
