I am trying to do a REFI of my CAL VET home loan into a VA loan. The CAL VET loan is backed by a VA guarantee. I have had several Refi experts say they can do it, and the VA tells them that I can do it. The problem the REFI experts are having is that there is no homes selling in my neck of the woods that would raise the “value” of my home to within the upper limit imposed by the investor. Apparently, as of recent, investors are demanding my house to have more value than what the past value determinations have produced. My home was purchased “NEW” in 2008 for 521K, Owe 505K. The original VA value at time of purchase was 530K. Is there anyone out there that can do a CAL VET to VA REFI? If so, I will provide more contact info at another time or give me your info. Thanks!
