I’m calling BS on this one. The Sony facility in RB is the North American headquarters and is huge. Their TV business is very successful in North America as well, so I’m not buying it. Perhaps a division or group is laying off everyone, but not the whole site.

Example: last week Sony Ericsson laid off about 450 in their Raleigh, NC R&D center.
