solar hot water heaters have a much faster payoff. Why not
do that for now? 3-5 year payoff, and, it lets you get a feel for the

Just noticed that Costco is selling a 5KW system for $17,000 of course you still have to pay someone to install it unless one is licensed by the state in order to get the rebates I think.
