Even in the current market that probably is not a good deal at all and probably should see significant depreciation as SD realtor mentions.
This seems to be in the same neighborhood, larger and in better condition for the same price.

This would be a better deal too, but needs some tlc

I am observing this area too and prices are definitely gradually falling. A year from now this area might be 10-15% lower than now on average.

March 22, 2008 at 10:24 PM #174899SD RealtorParticipantYeah I was gonna mention Feather Ridge (these are the two listings you brought up andy) if one is thinking about twin homes. Actually I like the Feather Ridge area better then the area mentioned by the OP because some (but not all) of the homes are quieter.
In the end though, both areas will get hit. Seems like Feather is dropping a bit quicker.

The asking price for the house that I mentioned was 460K. How about if I give an offer for 425K-430K. Do you guys think I will get it for this price??
I know most of you are thinking the price will fall, but this year my kid should start in the public school. Thats the reason I am thinking of buying something in a good school district!
