    I’ve been watching home prices in North san Diego County for about 2 years now. They’ve certainly dipped but… I just read an article stating that housing prices have plunged 18% in the last year. I don’t see any of that in the prices in Oceanside. Prices have remained relatively stable since last summer. What’s up with that?

    Those are the listed prices- the selling prices are lower I guess.

    Oceanside E 92056 -24.9%
    Oceanside N 92057 -35.6%
    Oceanside C 92058 -21.6%

    I believe drop in median price is because of drop in home price and shift of buying trend to lower priced homes.
