    The loan was approved. We signed the escrow paper, which we had three day to change our minds. So the loan was suppose to close three days later.

    Good to know that the lender has to honor their commitment.

    this same thing happened to me! please let me know what happened in your case. My lender decided not to go through w/ the loan i locked and funded already.

    The lender made good on his commitment and funded the loan on Monday.

    I’m just wondering aloud if the timing of the upswing of mortgage rate is related to the recent visit by our Treasure secretary’s visit to our biggest debt holder, China.
