ParticipantYea there is one thing that keeps me not listening to all these people with extreme view points and predictions of the next great collapse of America and that is this,
We have enough resources in North America to create our own economy that is not in anyway reliant on the rest of the world at all.
North America = (USA, Mexico & Canada)
Not saying this is what we need to do, just saying the rest of the world needs us more than we need them.

If I predict that the house you are in will burn down and tell you to run to your neighbors house to be safe, then both your house and the neighbors house burn down, am I genius?
Well said !
Without all the government intervention he would have been right now, he will be right later.

ParticipantI will add this for the dollar as well, sure the fed is printing money, but unless the money ends up in circulation (that is the big head ache right now, the fed can’t seem to get the money to circulate). In my view it will not create meaningful inflation.
If the money does start to circulate by some miracle then yes inflation will start to become a larger concern, until then it’s more about who needs who more, us or them …
