flu, let me walk you through this. Just because they have lost before when you attended live, that, in and of itself, is not a jinx. WHere did you park on the previous occasions, what did you wear, who were you with, what did you eat, and specifically, what portions of the game did you miss while going to the bathroom and getting food/drink? For instance, if last time they were winning and then you went to the bathroom and the other team scored, now we are on to something. If it happened twice, then that is what we need to concentrate on, you need to wear depends and just not leave to pee. If the opposite is true, drink a few bottles of water and pee alot. It could be anything, think hard, attendance by itself is never “it.”
Casca, you have a point, Manning is an incredible player, his arm is great, his mind is probably the best in the game and he has mojo right now. Against most teams that is plenty, but he has always had his problems with Rivers and company, and now that I’ve officially changed my stance on Norv, my reverse jinx might overpower his talent. Also, Dungy is missing this time, Dungy had great karma, in close games, Dungy’s karma made a difference. WE also have a secret weapon, I remember exactly how I watched the previous games against the colts when we beat them, I will be replicating my rituals this time, while colts fans will have to randomly try different things, this negates home field advantage, I have that power.
I would disagree with you on that. I rarely attend in person….. and in fortunate case I stumble across some tickets(or in this case, unfortunate, for the Chargers), I have never seen them win (1-7 in my attendance record for the past years)….the notable exception: the recent games with the Bengals, which I think the only thing I did differently was I paid for offsite parking…
Tell you what, I’ll give my parking pass away this time and pay for offsite parking again and bring a pee cup…. I hate leaving the the Q’s lots after the game anyway..It’s a nightmare.

January 11, 2010 at 1:40 PM #501093Allan from FallbrookParticipantPeyton Manning’s mojo is a non-issue. The Bolts are playing the Jets and Shonn Greene absolutely wrecked the Bungles run D. Chargers are giving up 4.5ypc on run D, so they better have a plan for Greene and Thomas Jones. SD is really going to be missing Jamal Williams at NT.
Casca, I don’t know if you noticed, but the Colts don’t like playing the Chargers, who have shown Peyton and Co. the door during the playoffs. If I’m a Charger fan, I’d rather be facing Indy than the Jets.
If I’m Ron Rivera, I have to bring run support down and really work my run fits. Good news is that Sanchez is a rookie and if SD can take away the run, then I see Rivers exposing that Jets secondary all game long.
