OT:Costco-What I won’t buy there

I won’t buy their organic strawberry preserves
Won’t buy Haagen Daz-because they no longer carry it
Won’t buy chocolate chip cookie dough(no longer have Otis Spunkmeyer)
Definitely won’t buy any dry dog food there
Won’t buy anymore Vizio TV’s anywhere

Anybody have any other won’t buy’s there?

What is annoying is that costco lists this at $89,999.99…Really, now… This isn’t gonna fool people into thinking “wow, great deal because it’s less than $90,000…”

Even worse is that prices don’t include sales tax as they do in other countries. E.g., when a hotel quotes you $99.99 for a room, you have no way of knowing how much the total bill will be in the morning (there’s sales tax, city hotel tax, resort fee, fuel surcharge, etc.) The total may come to anywhere from $110 to $130.

In Europe, when a hotel quotes you 120 euros, that’s all you pay when you check out. The receipt may itemize room rate, VAT, etc., but who cares? I was quoted 120, and that’s all I pay.

As far as hotels, if you pre-book online, you’re usually told the full price before they charge your credit card.

If you buy from online, the price is pretty clear prior to checkout though.

I more thing I don’t buy at Costco is produce. I’m kinda a meat and potatos kinda guy, but I do realize when prices are too high, ok I will and do buy the bananas.

I shop costco weekly, I pick and choose each week.

I look for the coupon deals, but I try to compare prices to wal mart in my head as I shop.

Where can I get a better deal is a question I ask myself for most items.

I don’t know squat. But maybe you should suggest to costco to do in store demo’s of them just like they do for food items and other things…You know. Just in case people don’t know what they are for.
