This is a good start, finally someone in the GOP is recognizing tax cuts ARE actually spending.

June 16, 2011 at 7:42 AM #704050CDMA ENGParticipantWithout stealing the thread and avoiding any detailed discussion about religion…
I will say this…
I was raised a mormon, a good one too not a jack, and knowing what the beliefs are I can not get behind Romney. Someone on the thread said common sense, maybe true, but he is one of those people that can easily but aside common sense to validate whatever they want.
Ron Paul. Unfortunately I also have a history of throwing away my vote (Ross Perot too)>

It’s very interesting to me you bring this up. During my fellowship in LA I worked with an old GYN, former chair of the department that is also a Mormon. He actually knows Romney personally and he once made a very similar statement to the one you just wrote.
I don’t know what it is, but I just can’t get excited about him. Kind of the way I felt about Dole in ’96. I have a feeling the nominee is going to be someone who will suddenly come out of nowhere.
