Leftists can never argue policy during a general election, so they always spit out crap like this.

Whitman let the woman go when she was informed that the housekeeper was using identity theft to supply a SSN (a driver’s license was also supplied as well as a document claiming she was a lawful resident alien – green card holder). – bet you would have claimed hypocrisy on her part if Whitman kept the housekeeper after discovering that she was using a stolen SSN.
Whitman claimed that her housekeeper was like a family member. But Whitman kicked that family member out.
What a way to treat a family member!
If I had family member (for example an in-law) that was illegal, I would do my best to help that person. If I were a billionaire, I’m sure that I would find a way to help my family member.
BTW, the housekeeper used her sister’s SSN.
E-verify was originally started as a “Basic Pilot Program” in 1997.
Whitman claims that her experience in high tech would be a benefit in government.
And eBay is a tech company that claimed to create a frictionless business model that would revolutionize the way business is conducted.
So much for the use of technology…. I would really like to hear Meg Whitman’s technology solutions to our immigration problems. Maybe a journalist could ask her that question.
