it’s kind of interesting that corporal punishment got phased out of schools, and now we may be bringing it back in by having the polcie admisnister the pain. perhaps the police should be involved in other areas of education. poor test scores. no homework! that’s a rule violation.
October 28, 2015 at 1:09 PM #790768anParticipant

Ok. How would you remove a disruptive, belligerent child from the classroom? Move the rest of the class to another room? Would any of you have behaved like this kid when you were a kid? We didn’t have cops on campus back then.
notify parents first that kid if going to be forcibly removed if they do not come down asap.
Then to remove a tiny kid that weighs perhaps 60-70lbs forcibly does not require black belt karate chops, just have 2 officers lift the kid out of the seat, restrain and remove.
The officer her acted like he was tackling some 250lb hardened armed criminal!!
I’m sure that girl wasn’t 60-70 lb.

school is not optional. it’s against the law not to go.

Teacher more interested in a pissing contest than teaching.
Not sure what rules apply. If you disobey any order of a teacher, can any level of force be used to extract a student. Can you throw a 10 year old across a room for chewing gum? Why not? How old before we get to whoop their ass?
I went to a school that was a lot like a prison as you say , when it wasn’t like a jungle. I have fond memories of most of the teachers. It was a large percentage of the student body that made it like a prison and or zoo not the teachers. Why would it be any different today?

And it’s against the law to tell someone to stay home or keep their kid home , out of school permanently too.
October 28, 2015 at 1:17 PM #790772scaredyclassicParticipantcops a competitive powerlifter. doesn’t prove he uses steroids but…i’d order him drug tested although I guess it’s too late if he’s fired. . seems to ahve a history of pounding on students.
at least everyone learned something in class that day. DO NOT FUCK WITH THE POLICE if they touch you, submit immediately. any resistance will be met with overwhelming force and they will not hesitate one iota to FUCK YOU UP.

blame the victims. if the school isn’t working for the student, then it’s the school’s fault.
October 28, 2015 at 1:55 PM #790776scaredyclassicParticipantnow im thinking though, maybe the problem is not the polcie presence, but that we need MORE police presence in schools. first, this would provide jobs. lots of them. i see one cop per three classrooms. patrolling regularly. then I’d like to see a little street justice dispensed for any disciplinary infraction to ensure absolute silence and order. finally, for better performance, I’d like to see the threat of violence. this type of regimen would help prepare stduents for real life, kind of liek those “how to balance a checkbook” classes. why not make classrooms much much much more orderly. it might not actually be a bad idea. absolute silence or GET OUT.
