Priorities. I like where I live because my extended family lives here; because I surf; and because I need to live in a large metro area for my occupation.
I have no culture so I don’t care about culture. I’m not a shooper so I don’t care about shopping. I don’t dislike poor people so living near poor people doesn’t bother me.
Different strokes. I’d be better off financially if my priorities were different.

No. 2 Vienna – nice city but not somewhere I would want to live, it’s just boring, the nightlife is around Schwedenplatz (Bermuda Triangle) and it’s not so vibrant. And you can go to a concert only so many times! And besides you can also attend concerts/opera etc. in other cities.
No. 4 Vancouver – ok city but No. 4? I wouldn’t live here, way too boring for my tastes.
No. 7 Munich – this is indeed a fantastic place to live, lots of culture and the city is just downright beautiful and of course the BEER GARDENS!!!! I would consider living here. Definitely not a party city though, more laid back.
Can’t believe Berlin did not make the top 10…uh, what kind of list is this?
