I shop at goodwill. (As well as traditional places.)
For those that need an excuse other than frugality – it’s “greener” – the “reuse” part of reduce-reuse-recycle.Great place to get otherwise pricey items like table linens, housewares, and, yes, chinos. (My older son’s school has a dress code that requires khaki’s.)

My wife has also gotten me a lot of polo shirts, dress shirts and pants the same way. I still need to buy most of my work clothes through a regular store but it sure is nice to save the money and be able to re-use the clothes.
Oh, and they are also broken in and soft/comfy 😉

If I rip a pair of pants on the kneecap, I cut them legs off and they become my work/gardening shorts.
My old socks make great polishing pads..
I hate buying clothes.
I think I have 2 suits……And it’s the same suit for the past 10+ years…
FLU… Just damn cheap….

I read somewhere that goodwill is somewhat of a scam and not really about charity.
We can’t have everyone going thrifty, otherwise the economy will go in the dumps. Spend, spend, spend.

Screw the economy. Another crash == another opportunity.
