Your tongue in cheek comment notwithstanding, Obama’s plan DOES incentivize Joe to not bust his ass to make that extra buck.“From each according to his ability to each according to his need”
Yep, that’s the Obama-nation in a nutshell. Wonder if any of you Obama lovers know the source of that quote….
Under Obama, we’ll have mild socialism for the poor. Under McCain, we’ll have extreme socialism for the rich.
I don’t think any Democrat has ever unleashed a $10 trillion socialism plan for the poor as Bush has now done for the rich.
Those who criticize Obama while planning to vote for McCain are total hypocrites. Now, if you are planning to vote for Bob Barr, then your criticism of Obama can be taken seriously. But McCain has a more socialist bent than Obama so none of his supporters have any room to criticize Obama.

October 16, 2008 at 7:25 AM #287963meadandaleParticipantFirst of all, “Bush’s $10 trillion socialism plan” was voted for by MORE democrats than republicans. So you can pretend that it was republican socialism but the truth is it had higher support by YOUR party.
WRONG! Many Democrats voted for the $700 billion No Banker Left Behind Act. However, the other $9.3 trillion in Aid to Families with Dependent Maseratis was implemented unilaterally by the Bush administration.
Why shouldn’t the tax rate on the super-rich go up in order to help pay for their own socialism? I suppose you would rather cut food stamps so that the super-rich can buy another yacht?
Then take it seriously because I”m not voting for Obama OR McCain.
Good to hear.
