I made a note to visit this post again and see how our calls went… Did you go long on qcom? You’d be up 10% now. Did you go short on UPS? You’d be up 9%. Not bad for one month’s work (beats the heck out of a 1-year CD at 3%, plus less taxes woohoo).
Yes, I’m gloating. I did mention the “etched in stone” thing though.
Now the down side: my “recession-proof” stocks JNJ and PG are down 3.5% and 1.35% respectively. Overall, however, the folio is balancing nicely. All 4 stocks of it. (yes I know, diversify).

Yeah, reading back through this thread, I find it funny that the one person who doesn’t know jack about Qualcomm was closest to being right. The rest of these idiots were dead wrong as usual.
