Does this crime wave take some of the sheen and glow off of Carmel Valley?

I know bank holdups happen elsewhere… but I read so much about how perfect Carmel Valley is – above average schools, above average kids… it’s better than Lake Wobegon. Except it has banks that get robbed.

Despite there being a police station right on El Camino Real, the crooks know that they can be on the freeway and long gone by the time the cops show up.
