ParticipantThe Gulf spill was handled the same way the banking debacle was. Lie, deny, cover-up, play down, cross fingers and pretend it is fixed. It is worse then officials tell us and all they can do is hope everything works out with little noticeable effects. Our leaders are kind of like three year olds caught in front of a broken vase denying any responsibility when things go awry.
With that said, I probably would eat it if it was put in front of me.
