Ah yes the fudgie wudgie guys! The beaches there are also much cleaner as the cleaned every morning during the season. However, you have to buy a beach badge to get access to the beach.
You glossed over the nicest part which is Ventnor, Margate and Longport. That where the big Philly/South Jersey money is. Also missed LBI (Long Beach Island) which is a wonderful quiet island very similar to the Carolinas with sand dunes. Above that it gets New Yorkie and very crowded aka Seaside Heights (home of Jersey Shore reality show)

I have been to “the shore” and it is no where near the southern california culture.
It is the exactly as they would have you believe from TV.
For my money I like So. Cal… Cant argue against the legend!
