ParticipantI think it is forgiveable given the greater inconvenience sending him to the end of the line of full carts and separating him from his father who is actually ready to leave.

ParticipantI don’t see anything wrong with this situation. It’s not like the teen made everyone wait and hold up the line while he went to get this candy. As long as the line keeps on moving, his dad is essentially saving his spot for him while he go grab what he forgot to get. He did get in line before everyone else in that line.
