Allan,
Sorry, I forgot my /snark tag. I was just trying to counter the original post’s generalizations with some generalizations of my own. Another failed attempt at humor on the Interwebs.
… but I strongly stand by my claim that Conservatives drink shitty piss beer. I’m un-appologetic in my liberal beer elitism.

October 3, 2008 at 1:02 PM #280175Allan from FallbrookParticipantafx: You know, I’m gonna check amongst my buds and conduct a straw poll on piss beer vs. “real” beer.
Growing up in a very German household, I was introduced to pilsners, bocks/double bocks and good lagers at a very young age, so I agree wholeheartedly with your assessment as to the piss beers, but my liking good beer has nothing to do with my politics.
Which brings us to a very key question: What, in your opinion, is the best beer in the world? My pick of a mass produced beer would be Pilsner Urquell, and I’m thinking about which boutique I would pick.
You?

“Beer is living proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy.”
P.S., I completely agree that liking beer has nothing to do with politics, but tell that to the original poster.
I also find it funny that every “conservative domestic” brewery is scrambling to keep up by releasing all of these “craft” and “hint of lime” and “select” and “hoppy” beers. Do they even make regular Bud/Coors anymore?
