Hello Sub, I did some shopping around today and got a verbal commitment from Farmer Ins. In El Cajon to write a policy on both my houses for a very reasonable annual premium on 500k of structural coverage. I have Allstate but they are not writing new premiums and I need to put one house under a landlords policy. I am in a the highest fire risk zone. I asked him if he would help you and he said yes and that they are usually very quick about it for the sake of escrow. Let me know if you want the contact. One thing I have concerns about, he said it is a different named insurer under the Farmers group. I am not sure if that matters. I am going to try to discuss that with a couple of knowledgeable people I know when I can get a hold of them. If anyone else on this site can chime in on the significance of that, I would appreciate it.
