Thanks allen and svelte. Was waiting for ya Allen. π
Schools are not a factor for me. Kids are in college. Funded their CollegeShare. They got new cars. X Wife is in Wisconsin. Found smoking hot GF on Match.com. Bring on the new life. Shwinnng.
Agent from HERE helped me sell my LCV home in 26 days. Things are moving fast.
We will make day runs to the coast for beaching and dinners and hunker down to DVDs on the 60″ HD Sony with Surround Sound.
I plan to live there indefinitely. I am 56 and kicking back. It would be great to find a tennis court though.
Question: whatup with the school issues? Why is it undesirable? How about groceries etc… Is there an Albertson’s on every corner. (Honey? Avocado salad AGAIN?)
Allen – any way to contact you directly for a phone chat. You can email me at [email protected] .. if availabe. Cool if not π

…headin’ outMarch 21, 2009 at 6:40 PM #371392svelteParticipantActually it was Gene who gave the link to the last house.
Here is one that calls out to me, and it is already in your price range!
http://www.sdlookup.com/MLS-090014993-3576_Nettle_Pl_Fallbrook_Ca_92028
And I think it already has cable and sewer hookups…
When I find places like that (3200 sf on 2 acres for under $800K), I sometimes question our decision to bypass Fallbrook. Ah well…such is life.

March 21, 2009 at 6:50 PM #371609Allan from FallbrookParticipantSvelte: Homes like these are becoming more and more common in Fallbrook and Bonsall. Many of these homes were purchased back during the 2002 – 2005 run up for more than $1MM and a lot of them are being foreclosed on.
I’ve seen some of the nicer developments that are getting hammered right now, and many of the homes look very much like this one. I think you’ll see price declines to below $200/sf in many instances, especially given the number of homes out there.
Quite a few of the folks here are under considerable pressure in terms of money and finances and I think that will drive prices lower as time wears on.
