I’m sorry to tell you that you have already found the best public courses in San Diego county for the money. If you want a list of courses try http://www.golfsd.com. Most coures I have found in North SD are either executives and too short or way over priced (It’s a game not an investment). I’d say take the extra drive to Torrey Pines, but your friends from OC don’t have a residence card so they have to pay full price.

Woods Valley is brand new and reasonable. I havent played at the place in Oceanside but it looks good – Arrowhead or something.
