    Many thanks for the replies.
    I will be in the market to buy within the next 12 months or so and will continue to watch with interest.

    Will these increases also push rental prices up? We are starting to look for a house to rent in that area with a decision sometime before the end of September.

    If you are looki9ng for a rental you are looking at the worst time as people will be looking for homes (some rentals) over the summer and this is a prime school district. The closer it gets to the school year the tougher it gets to find one and the higher rents go. Its just a temporary blip though and should gets back to normal after September.

    We don’t have much choice.
    We arrive in the USA early August and will stay in a furnished condo for a month while looking for a place to rent.
