Yeah the posting actually was not made to advocate not paying the debt off at all. As you see in the posting my advice to the guy was to call his attorney if he wanted to do anything but pay it. Again, as I remarked the debt does not go away, it may not be secured by the home anymore but it doesn’t go away.
He should look at it like he was able to get a 60k interest free loan for a couple years. Cannot complain about that!
